Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Kalinda School is a unique and dedicated learning community where every student’s individual journey is at the heart of everything we do.
At our school, we are deeply committed to fostering regulation, communication, and community engagement as key pillars of our educational approach.
We believe that strong partnerships with families and the wider community enrich our students’ learning experiences at school and build a supportive network that promotes learning beyond our school.
We are proud to offer a place where learning is both meaningful and joyful, and where every student is empowered to reach their full potential.

Kalinda School’s Support Dog Program brings animal-assisted support into our learning environment, helping to create a calm and connected space where every student can thrive. Our support dog, Kali, plays a valued role in helping students feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. Through her gentle presence and guided interactions, she supports emotional regulation, social skills, and positive engagement with learning. Each visit is shaped around the needs of our students, giving them time to connect with Kali in ways that feel safe and meaningful.
Her presence fosters trust, empathy, and a sense of belonging—strengthening the culture of care and connection that sits at the centre of everything we do at Kalinda.
